~

You went out in the snow
to get us some bread.
They brought your dead bodies
back instead.

Hold a book that you loved,
Tear drops feeling like stabs,
and make me squint
and become my jacket´s tabs.

Window light falls apart,
cradle shakes in my hand,
watch my head
as it´s counting sand.

Now you´re gone,
you´re
and I miss
you
so

Morning, noon and night
your always curious eyes
open up my heart in love and pain.

A wheelin´ reelin´ guilt
is stealin´ honesty away.
But that´s not you,
I don´t wanna feel you like this again.

This bottle won´t help.
Got a friend who takes care.
Holes in the walls
everywhere I stare.

Chilling wind in the park,
trees in silhouettes around,
from the distance the city´s sound.

Joey´s pizza place closed, - uuhh --- ,
ignore my tremblin´ jaw.
Feel like cut by a motor saw.

Now you´re gone,
you´re
and I miss
you
so

Morning, noon and night
your always curious eyes
open up my heart in love and pain.

A wheelin´ reelin´ guilt
is stealin´ honesty away.
But that´s not you,
I don´t wanna feel you like this again.

You went out in the snow
to get us some bread . . .
